We understand that the trainers’ training is undeniably an important component of a quality education. At TEA, we provide training to the trainers with three things in focus: Firstly, how to develop AQF compliant technical materials, such as the implementation guide, standardized presentations, technical notes on specific topics, assessment tools and exercises.
Secondly, training the trainers to ensure that trainers get familiar with the technical and assessment material and carry out the training in the most effective and interactive way. Thirdly, to train in the transformation of the developed material into E-learning to carry out the training in an on-line off-line environment.
While, designing this course, TEA kept in its focus the needs of individuals who are either involved in delivering training and assessment services, or wish to be involved in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
The assessment are designed keeping in mind that the achievement of this qualification (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) or an equivalent by trainers and assessors is a requirement of the Australian Quality Training Framework Essential Standards for Registration.
(Standard 1 as outlined in Appendix 2 of the Users' Guide to the Essential Standards for Registration).
